Removing of carpet stain is anything but easy and it is one complex work where you have to know what to do when you notice a certain stain. It happens all of us that we spill the drink unintentionally as accidents do happen. Nevertheless, we have spoken to the people who run carpet cleanings in Queen Creek, AZ and they had revealed us some of the most common stains that they had encountered with. There are many ways to remove the spills, and we will mention the most common types as well as an effective way to remove each of these.

Kool-Aid drink stains

Kool-Aid is a fantastic cold drink that we all love to drink, but the stains from this drink can be disastrous. As you know, the drink comes in many different colors and flavors and the worst thing that can happen is that you spill it on the white carpet. But do not worry, there is a solution. First, blot the stain with a dry towel (it has to be white so it collects everything). Do not rub the stain as this will make things worse! Mix 1/4cup of white vinegar with 1 tablespoon of dish soap and add warm water into the mixture. Try to get the spray bottle and spray the stained area well. Let it soak for 10 minutes and then blot again with the clean white towel. You can use BISSEL Carpet Cleaning Formulas solutions instead of dish soap.

Stains made by pets

We all love pets but they can make a quite mess. The most common is urine. Therefore, get rid of the mess first (pick up gloves and throw it if it is poop) and blot with the clean white towel to get rid of the additional smell. The carpet has to be dry for the next step. Now, apply a bit of specialized solution for pet stains to clean the mess. If there is smell still present, mix ΒΌ of a cup of white vinegar with warm water and spray the area. It has to be soaked well, otherwise, it will not penetrate to the stained fibers and the smell will be present. Once soaked well, blot it gently to remove the liquid and extract the bad smell.

Stains from coffee

Coffee is one of our favorite drinks and we often spill it on the floor/carpet. Again, bloat with the dry white towel but do make sure to change the towels in case the stain is huge and there is a lot of coffee. Once you collect all the coffee, mix a vinegar, warm water and a bit of non-bleach detergent. Spray the problematic area, rinse, blot and repeat again. You may also get the specialized cleaning solutions in Wal Mart or other shops but do use them according to the instructions written on the bottle. These are highly concentrated chemicals that can easily ruin your carpet.
